Our Story

Mistakeswithmen.com was founded in 2022 by a group of friends who found the traditional world of men completely unrelatable. We saw pictures on dating apps of shirtless men with rippling ab muscles, some standing outside of their car, or hunting or with the obligatory pet photo, with the message of “if only you could be with me” – and we were absolutely repelled. We also knew dating and relationship goals have come a long way! At the same time, we saw that most women we knew struggled as well.  Who are these people (men) and what do they really want?  What do they think?  WHY DO THEY ACT like they do.

So, we setup a project.

We asked over 2,000 women what they would like to know about men.  Men from 18-40 was the baseline.  So we setup a way for women to send us the questions, we polled the men and what we found out was astonishing.  Amazing really.

We had no idea men actually think this way!

Enter mistakeswithmen.com – our visceral and irreverent response, feedback and information to and from all of the above. We launched in February of 2022 we published a book and sent it out to friends and friends of friends.  We were sold out in over 36 hours. So, we got smart(er).  We cut the price, created it in digital form (duh) and started the website.  We JUST updated the website you’re now looking at so please don’t mind its simplicity. The sales have been crazy and more importantly, the feedback from women has been fantastic.  We are SO glad we can be of help. Throughout, we maintained a consistent focus on building an ever-evolving product to help women to get a better understanding of the men in their world. While we cannot prevent the craziness that men sometimes exhibit (sorry guys) at least we can help you in understanding why!
